This low-temperature cut-off protection helps maintain LiFePO4 battery health. Plus, The advanced Grade A+ cells inside are UL tested, and the battery is MSDS and Un38.3 tested, ensuring a 10-year lifespan.

  • [Trolling Motor, Marine, Boat, Solar, RV] When using the battery with a trolling motor, we highly recommend installing a 60A–100A circuit breaker between the battery and your device to prevent overdischarging. 60A circuit breaker sold separately in the Dr.Prepare Store. These LiFePO4 batteries are also perfect for Marine, Boat, RV, camper, solar setups, off-grid, camping, fish finder and home backup power during outages or hurricane season.
  • [5,000 Cycles, 10-Year Lifespan] DR. PREPARE LiFePO4 battery has 5,000 cycles at 60% deep discharge and 3,000 cycles at 80% deep discharge, providing about a 10-year lifetime, while only 500 cycles for the sealed lead-acid batteries. The 12V rechargeable LiFePO4 battery provides a maximum of 1,280Wh power output, which is 2 to 3 times more powerful than SLA batteries of the same size.
  • [Charging & Discharging Tips] The optimal charging current is 20A (max 50A). For safe and efficient charging, use a compatible AC-to-DC LiFePO4 battery charger or a solar panel system with a charge controller. Do not use other brand general-purpose chargers to avoid potential damage. Each battery must be fully charged separately before in series. After a full discharge at 100A, avoid immediate recharging at 50A, as it may trigger the high-temperature charging protection.
  • [Important Reminders] 1. It's an energy storage battery, not a car battery, starting battery or golf cart battery. 2. Ensure the battery terminals are securely fastened. Loose terminals can lead to heat accumulation and potential battery damage. 3. Optimal charging involves a 20A current for our lithium battery. While the maximum charging current stands at 50A, exceeding this limit can result in a shortened battery lifespan.
