This is a genuine OEM Otis RS3A remote serial board. These are also known as "RSL" boards. RS3A boards are commonly used inside Otis COP's and Otis hall fixtures/stations. Remote serial boards interface the controller with external buttons, keyswitches and jewels. Terminals on the RS3A board serve as I/O. These terminals can both receive a discrete input to send along the RSL link and also provide discrete outputs. The RS3A board has been redesigned by Otis engineering. GBA26800NW3 is a more modern form/fit/function for your original A9693C3 or B9693C3 board. The newer NW series board uses dipswitches to set the RSL address. Older 9693C boards use jumpers. On old boards, jumpers are CUT to represent a "ON" state. Jumpers left complete represent a "OFF" state. This will coorespond with "OFF" & "ON" of your new boards dipswitches. You must set your new NX board RSL address to match your existing address or the board will not work properly. CUT = ON. NOT CUT = OFF.
