The AR-600 Drive Unit features a durable design for outdoor installation. It connects to your control unit using a 3-conductor cable (20AWG for up to 280 feet / 84m; thicker gauge for longer distances). Installation is straightforward, involving opening a cover, inserting the cable through a grommet, and connecting leads to terminals 1, 2, and 3, ensuring secure, short-circuit-free connections.

Mounting the drive unit is simple: attach it to a support mast (1 1/4" to 2" / 3-5cm diameter recommended) by loosening clamp nuts, resting the cast nose on the mast, and moderately tightening. For added stability, guy wires can be passed through the lower clamp's holes.

The indoor control unit is designed for ease of use and programming. After wiring the rotor cable to the connector plate, simply plug the control unit into a 120 VAC outlet (do not use 240 VAC).
