The Ci2 Easy Roughers are capable of plunge cuts similar to using a large parting tool. This type of cut sends massive amounts of material straight back at the operator. Because of the almost overwhelming amount of spray possible we recommend the use of the Deflector. You won't regret having it in place. Primarily used on the Ci2, but fits any of Easy Wood's tools with 3/8" wide blades.
