The SharkBite push-to-connect 1-in PVC x 3/4-in CTS (Copper tube size) ball valve is the fastest way to transition from iron pipe size PVC into copper tube size copper, PEX, CPVC or PE-RT. This valve eliminates the need for additional transition fittings, solder, glue or tools. The quarter-turn single lever ball valve allows for easy on/off operation. Just insert the pipe and the fittings stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. The white-collar side fits Sch. 40, 80, 120 PVC and can be used on IPS CPVC Sch. 40 and Sch. 80 pipes. The tan collar side fits CTS copper, PEX, CPVC or PE-RT pipe. Disassembly is just as fast using the SharkBite disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily removed and reused.
