Apex General Purpose Quick Dissolve agarose is a standard melting/gelling agarose suitable for a wide variety of nucleic acid and protein analytical and preparative applications using standard electrophoretic techniques. This Ultra Pure multi-purpose agarose has a low EEO of 0.05-0.13, so macromolecules will have higher electrophoretic mobility than with other standard agaroses. This translates into shorter electrophoretic runs and sharper resolution for the user. DNA purified from this agarose maintains full biological activity and can be readily digested and ligated. Apex General Purpose agarose offers excellent gel transparency and exceptionally low absorption of staining agents. Lot to lot consistency ensures reproducible results. Apex Quick Dissolve LE agarose is based on the same superior performance, parameters, applications and functional tests as those of Apex General Purpose Agarose. An additional characteristic of this particular type of agarose is the special particle size distribution, which provides an easier and faster dissolution step for the end user.
