Crosby's extra heavy wire rope thimbles are the standard choice for light duty applications and loading conditions. Thimbles are hot dip galvanized and meet the performance requirements of Federal Specification FF-T-276b Type III. Extra heavy thimbles have a longer service life and greater protection against wear and deformation of the wire rope eye.
