Molykote DX is a white grease paste suited for long-term lubrication for metal parts and for assemblies.
It contains solid lubricants for assembly and long-term lubrication of metal components yet it is smooth and buttery so it is excellent for use in industrial and commercial mechanical equipment systems as well as in linear motion components and precision mechanical systems.
It is formulated with a corrosion inhibitor for long term protection of metal components.

Molykote DX is used successfully on many frictional contacts of electrical and domestic appliances, packaging and office machinery, precision instruments, machinery in foodstuffs and beverages industry, as well as in textile and plastics processing machinery.

Molykote DX Paste grease is recommended for certain components in ETA Valjoux watch movements and is an excellent grease for many other chronograph/horology systems. It is also excellent for precision mechanical systems and scientific instruments with low to medium speed and medium to heavy load moving parts.

Molykote DX is said to be similar to the popular Moebius D5 but with a less fluid viscosity and will not drip or run. Since it is white in color it is easy to see exactly where it has been applied yet it spreads virtually invisible when applied as a thin film.

APPLICATIONS:
- Sliding surfaces and friction contacts exposed to heavy loads, requiring "clean" lubrication, especially at low to medium speeds.
- For use in home furnishings, electrical appliances, packaging equipment, office equipment, precision equipment, plastic processing equipment, textile equipment.

- Mineral Oil
- Lithium Soap
- White solid lubricants (Polytetrafluoroethylene - Teflon or equivalent brand)
- Corrosion inhibitor.
