The backplate and the top plate need to be tuned to produce more resonant frequencies for a better sound experience. The pitch of the backplate is usually 2 to 7 semitones higher than that of the top plate, and such tuning can make the sound brighter and harder.
The choice of backplate material significantly affects the guitar's sound, with different materials' spectral width range, vibration absorption, clarity, and sustain length, etc., producing distinctly different sound signals during the resonance process of the guitar body, thus affecting the guitar's sound.
There are 11 screw holes on the side of the mouth guard and 3 single coil mouth guard holes to match the replacement of the ST mouth guard. The rear plate is shown in the figure.
