J&K Scientific's clear high-skirted 96-well PCR plates are made of high-quality polypropylene (PP) and are free of RNase, DNase, human DNA, pyrogens, PCR inhibitors, and endotoxins to ensure sample integrity. Each well has a volume of 200 μL, and are of thin, uniform thickness to allow for consistent thermal transfer, and are clear so the contents can easily be viewed. The plates are of standard dimension and are compatible with thermal cyclers and real-time PCR instruments, including iCycler iQ, iQ5, MyiQ, MyiQ2 and more. The wells are labeled for easy sample identification and raised to allow for a better seal with film, foil and caps, to prevent sample evaporation and degradation during cycling and storage.
