This is an Expansion Spherical Roller Bearing Unit. The housings are made of USA Class 30 cast iron. Compatible with Dodge and SKF S2000 series pillow block bearings, these heavy duty pillow block bearings are made by Moline Bearing Co. in the USA.
The bearings are genuine SKF and Timken Spherical Roller Bearings that use vacuum degassed steel which gives rollers and races added life, provides superior load and speed characteristics. Drive collar includes 2 headless set screws spaced 65° apart, locking it to the shaft. High radial load capacities. Completely assembled, adjusted, sealed and pre-lubricated at the factory and are;assembled with a standard triple lip contact seals.
It can be assembled with a balanced labyrinth seal for high heat or high-speed environments (up to 350°). This bearing is an Expansion unit and it has a +/- 1-1/2° misalignment capacity or .030” per foot of shaft. Expansion units have a .100” movement capacity and can be used in high heat environments.
