Threadless version work well in English, French, Swiss shells as well as bottom bracket shells with damaged threads with no facing required (does not work in Italian shells)
Threadless versions expand to tighten into the bottom bracket shell without damaging threads; once removed the original threads can be reused
English and French models use Shimano-spline installation tool; threadlessuse standard bottom bracket spanner and pin spanner
Can be used on traditional threaded bottom bracket bikes with damaged BB threads (except Italian) but use of the Velo Orange threadless BB unit does not alter the existing BB shell's threads
