The Korsteel Stainless Steel Jointed Dee Ring Snaffle Bit has a single jointed mouthpiece that provides a nutcracker action which applies pressure to the tongue and bars of the horse's mouth. The Dee ring design compromises between an eggbutt and a full cheek snaffle, preventing pinching at the corners of the mouth. This horse bit is considered a mild bit and can be preferable to horses with less palate clearance.
