Brass 2.5" NH (NST) female swivel pin lug x 2.5” NH (NST) male gate valve with non-rising stem. Features an aluminum speed handle.
Used to control water flow through one of the two or both 2 1/2 inch discharge ports on a fire hydrant. Also used with standpipes systems and fire pumps.
Note: Operating a gate valve in a partially open position can cause excessive gate wear and damage seals. Intended use is to fully open or close water flow, not intended for flow throttling.
