Fiberglass Rodding 1/8 Inch x 3/8 Inch, 328 Feet

These are the rolls of fiberglass rodding to reinforce your slabs. This rodding measures 1/8" wide by 3/8" tall and is available in 328' long rolls and is ribbed for better adhesion of glue. Although light in weight it is very strong and fiberglass rodding is recommended by the Marble Institute of America.

Rectangular rods tend to strengthen the stone and increase deflection before ultimate failure. Fiberglass reinforcement increases the load tolerance by 50% and deflection before failure by 1600% which is significantly more than just using round rodding.
