Safe-T Quick Connect Helm is a direct replacement for the old style Safe-T (SH5023). The Safe-T helm is a mechanical rotary steering system for inboard, small outboard and power steering assisted stern drive boats up to 24 feet with up to a 16 inch wheel. The Safe-T is an ideal helm for boats where a No Feedback system is not required. This quick connect helm requires no tools for installation, just snap and go. The Safe-T has rapid response steering with 3 turns of the wheel from lock to lock. Requires SSC72XX or SSC61XX (QC II) cables and Safe-T 20 (SB27483) or 90 (SB27484) degree bezels. Meets A.B.Y.C. standards and N.M.M.A. certification requirements.
