Special Features

  • Heat-resistant
  • Autoclavable
  • Corrosion-resistant
  • Probes with asmall radiation surface are recommen.ded for sonication of samples in smal, slim vesselsnever for samples larger than 50 ml. These probeswork with high intensity and are therefore designedfor a short sonication time. Probes with a small radiation surface(also known as micro tips)in particulagenerate a very high level of heat in small volumesn the case oftemperature-sensitive samples, worshould be carried out in pulsed mode or the sampleshould also be cooled.
  • Larger volumes require a larger probe radiation surfaceFor example,a 38 mm probe is more suitable for soni-cating a 1 litre sample volume than a 25 mm probe.
