J.G. Finneran Associates designed Limited Volume Inserts with and without Bottom Springs to ensure that auto samplers extract even the smallest sample volumes every time, without damaging injection needles or breaking sample containers. The inserts preassembled with polymer bottom springs act as shock absorbers to protect sample needles from bottoming out during sample extraction. Inserts without the bottom springs automatically centers in the vial and provides a perfect seal with the septa. The pulled point internal design permits sufficient sample withdrawal and allows chemists the ability to analyze smaller sample volumes in standard size vials. These inserts are manufactured from Type I borosilicate glass and are available in 200µL and 250µL sample volumes. Limited volume inserts fit in 12x32mm vials with Snap Seal, Snap Ring, Crimp Top, and Big Mouth finishes, as well as standard and screw thread openings. The pulled point inserts are economical and cost effective when compared to loss of expensive samples.
