Description

Conial separatory funnels are made of borosilicate glass, low expansion coefficient, high transparency and high temperature resistance, durable and sturdy.
Designed with heavy wall for superior strength, the uniform wall makes the separating funnel more resistant to thermal shock.
Separating funnel is used in the lab for liquid-liquid extractions, separating a mixture's components into two solvent phases of different densities.
The higher density liquid sinks to the bottom and can then be drained from a valve, leaving the less dense liquid in the funnel.
