Ultra Shield Armor Guard Protector is a high-performance floor coating that offers exceptional stain, scuff, and scratch resistance. Using proprietary Nano-Particulate Xpolymer Technology (NPXT), it creates a surface up to 7 times more durable than traditional acrylic finishes. Ideal for multiple flooring types, including tile and laminate, it resists water and dirt, making cleaning easy with a floor cleaner or tile cleaner. With just two coats and no need for stripping, Armor Guard Protector provides long-lasting protection and a lustrous, smooth finish.
Floor Preparation
Strip existing finishes, including new/factory-installed coatings, to ensure proper adhesion.
Dust mop to remove all grit and particles. Clean any stains thoroughly.
Rinse floor well after stripping to prevent adhesion issues, discoloration, or hazing.
Application Procedure
Burnish the entire floor with a Sidewinder 1500 or 3000 Grit Floor Pad for better gloss.
Apply a thin, even coat of Armor Guard Protector using a clean microfiber mop or floor mop, covering 2,500-3,000 sq. ft. per gallon.
Allow the floor to dry for 20-30 minutes (longer for porous surfaces).
Wait 15 minutes after drying before applying a second coat.
After 24 hours, burnish the floor for at least 5 passes with a Stone-Glo Sidewinder Floor Pad. Burnish 1-2 times per week for long-term durability and gloss.
Ongoing Maintenance
Dust mop regularly.
Damp mop or use an auto scrubber with neutral pH floor cleaner for mopping as needed.
Burnish floors periodically to maintain gloss; reapply Armor Guard Protector if gloss fades in traffic areas. When mopping, you may also use mop soap to help clean effectively.
