It is constructed from a strong, durable synthetic yarn impregnated with Teflon. This yarn is rot resistant, providing longer service life and superior performance. Rated to 500deg;F; rotation speed of 3,000 ft./min. Color is dark gray- Graphtex is a blend of ultra-slippery W. L. Gore fibers and graphite braided fibers, impregnated with Teflon to produce a packing that will give the ultimate level of performance.
