To use: firmly grip a length of safety wire in the jaws and slide the silver latch backward until it locks the jaws closed. Grip the knob at the back of the pliers and let go of the plier handles. Pull backwards on the knob. As you do, the pliers will begin to spin, twisting the wire as it rotates. To open the jaws and release the wire, squeeze the handles together.
