This bleeder valve eventually becomes brittle and disintegrates. Replace it with a genuine Land Rover part. NOTE: Starting with the 2007 model year, a different hose was introduced that included this serviceable valve. The earlier one-piece hose is no longer available. Many earlier models have had this hose replaced and this valve will now be serviceable to that vehicle. Valve fits 2005-2009 LR3 and 2006-2009 Range Rover Sport models with the 4.4L AJV8 engine.
