For some reason, engineers did this, not very clear why! Your for Toyota RAV4 is no exception! (You can check it in your trunk, your trunk has only 2 metal loops on the bottom, and on top hardware is missing). That's why this cargo net comes with a universal hardware kit for installation, which may require small openings to install them!
Installation of the Cargo Net for Toyota RAV4 2019-2025 has ONLY 2 ways: 1) You will receive 2 universal hardware with this Cargo Net, to install them you have to screw them into the plastic lining of your trunk, for this, you need to make two small openings - (Please see pics attached for details); 2) You can install this Cargo Net on the Cargo Cover itself on each edge (it is as shown in the photo in my listing) - (Please see pics attached for details).
