Description

This Scottish Basket-Hilt Backsword has an unsharpened blade of high carbon steel; the basket hilt is cast from brass and the grip is leather and brass wire bound over a core of wood. The basket is lined with velvet. The companion wood-core scabbard is finished with a leather wrap and a brass chape and locket.
