Description

Summer Savory (Satureja Hortensis) is an annual plant. The root is thin, straight, almost cylindrical, 10-15 cm long. Stems are 15-30 cm long, branched from the base, and pressed hairy from short hair bent down. Corolla is light purple or pinkish with purple spots. The fruit is a nutlet, ovoid-trihedral, almost naked. The plant blooms in July and October.
