The Steering Wheel Lock Remover is used to simplify the removal and installation process of the lock plate snap rings when servicing steering wheel columns. It comes with the extended yoke services including tilt-wheel and telescoping columns.

STEPS TO USE THIS TOOL:
Match the thread on the adapter to the steering shaft and back off the wing nut.
Attach the adapter onto the end of the steering shaft.
Keep the plastic handle of the tool out until there is sufficient tension on the tool.
Retain the thread wing nut down until sufficient pressure is applied to the lock plate to release a snap ring.

APPLICATION:
For depressing lock plates on the domestic and imported steering wheel of the vehicles, it allows removal of a round wire snap ring that retains the lock plate to the shaft.
