This item is exact reproduction of the 9 1/2" backing plate with splash shield. This backing plate was used on countless cars in the 's and 70's. was used on both the 10 and 12 bolt rear ends . The plate was used on all the mid size A, F , X-Body cars. The full size cars usually had the bigger 11" brakes so this plate is not for the 11" big brake cars.
