The list is limited to tool single-axis alignment tools, made of high-strength aluminum alloy, with a diameter of 3.2MM and a diameter of 2.8MM
If you can see a clear shot through all the washers and blades; you're good to go. Chances are; the tool's tips will allow you to easily move everything into alignment.
Once the tip of the tool goes through or into the knife; rotate the tool until the flat part of the alignment tool aligns with the flat part of the "D" shaped pivot hole.
Pull the shaft back to release the tension on the spring and the tool should slide easily over the rest. Don't force tools. If anything; shake or make "circles" with the handle of the alignment tool to help the tool push everything into alignment.
Between the wiggling action and the tapered shoulder of the tool, the washer, blade, and scale should align easily and the tool shouldn't require much force to slide through.
Once fully passed, you can release the shaft and the tension of the spring pressing the rod against the blade should hold everything on the alignment tool and hold everything in place. Find the pivot pin and slide it over the smaller
