Special Features

  • 3 Pounds ( 3lbs, 48 Ounces ) of ResinTech MBD-30 Color Changing DI Resin. Highest Quality Nuclear Grade deionization resin. ULTRA PURE TDS FREE WATER – Dramatically reduce 100% of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) from your water when used after a Reverse Osmosis/DI system.
  • REFILL & SAVE – 100% compatible with any manufacturer DI Refillable cartridges. Refill DI cartridges of any size and save money.
  • COLOR-CHANGING INDICATOR – The Resintech MBD30 DI Mixed Bed Ion Exchange color-changing resin changes color to clearly indicate when it's time to replace your media. When exhausted, the resin changes from Blue to amber, leaving out the guesswork of when to replace the media to ensure your water stays ultra-pure.
  • Packaged in a Clear Sealed Bag. Also to note: We recommend that you should NOT use this resin for Drinking Water purposes. Deionized Water is removed of all minerals and will taste horrible.

Description

3 lbs Color Changing Nuclear Grade DI Resin. We recommend the color changing resin because it gives you an idea of when to start checking your TDS meter more often. We vacuum package our resin, this removes virtually all of the carbon dioxide within the packaging itself. The resin changes from Blue to light brown as it is depleted. The color indicator in DI resin is just a visual indicator of when the resin is close to exhausting and should not be considered and accurate representation of when the resin is fully depleted, it can often be good much longer. We strongly suggest using inline TDS meters to definitively tell you when it is time to change your resin.
