A long wooden twig hangs from each of the five points of a black metal pentagram that is suspended horizontally. The tops of the twigs are stripped bare and are decorated at their bottoms with wound wire. A round drum-shaped piece of driftwood that hangs on a metal chain among the twigs is the 'clapper' that bangs against the twigs to give the windchime its clicking sound. A strip of bark catches the wind and sets the clapper in motion. Every time we make a new one of these bells, it's slightly different than the one we made before it. So if a photo is noted as 'the Current Version', it is the one you will receive.
