Sailor Moon, officially spelled Sailormoon in Japan, is a fictional character in the Sailor Moon media franchise, appearing as the protagonist and titular character. Sailor Moon is formally named Neo-Queen Serenity in the 30th century, but in the 20th century her civilian name, Usagi Tsukino, becomes Serena Tsukino in the English-language versions.
