Step:
A. Firstly, find out the location of the leak.this can be done by wearing the gore-tex clothes or waterproof clothing in water for a short time and then checking the inside for a “wetspot”.
B. Turn the Gore-tex garment inside out,and clean damaged area by a dry cloth for repair.
C.Covering the seam tape with a piece of paper or cloth is a good technique that will help shield and protect your iron and the tape
Using a household iron at moderate temperature(302°F-320°F).You will patch the inside of the 3-layer fabric.
Cover small tears and holes by enclosed adhesive tape by 4/5" larger.Keep the adhesive side down, place over the hole, and medium/hard pressure for 10-15 seconds.
E. After the seam tape cools, check for any loose edges and use the iron again if necessary.
Repairs should appear the same as taped seams inside the garment.
