Special Features

  • Replaces Part Numbers: 7129871, 34371, WS15X10012, 3437, 3437299 and 42-3437. NOTE: If there is a small amount of leakage from the valve stem, you can move the handle back to the bypass position and then back to the filter position
  • Compatible Brands: Kenmore, GE, Whirlpool, Morton, NorthStar, EcoWater, EcoPure, and more. NOTE: When connecting the pipelines, align the two threads and tighten them synchronously. Do not tighten one side before the other, as it may cause misalignment of the thread tightened later
  • Note: This is a water softener bypass valve 7129871 with threaded connections. The threaded connections are 1" male pipe thread. This part will not fit larger high flow models. During installation, it is recommended to wrap PTFE tape around the threaded outlet to prevent leakage. Additionally, applying silicone grease to the black O-ring can help protect it from aging and cracking
