ComStar's ProFrost I-100 is a color coded premium industrial coolant containing corrosion inhibitor packages designed to prevent system corrosion and clog-ups caused by chemicals and minerals that may be mixed in with the water in operating systems. ProFrost I-100 100% pure, ready to use propylene glycol. Plain glycols are more corrosive than water and automobile anti-freeze can contain inhibitors that tend to react and coat heat exchange surfaces, thereby reducing energy efficiency. ProFrost is a food quality propylene glycol and is intended to be used in systems that may be used in food and/or pharmaceutical processing.
