Special Features

  • NOTE: This is an aftermarket ATV starter motor. The OEM Baja Motorsports Wilderness Trail 400 (WD400-U) ATV starter motor has been discontinued and is no longer available anywhere.
  • This starter motor has the same drive shaft and spline setup as the original Baja ATV part, but the mounting bracket is not a direct bolt on match.
  • You will need to modify the mounting setup on your ATV to allow mounting of this starter motor to be compatible with the Baja Wilderness Trail 400 ATV.
  • This is the only known electric starter motor that can be made to work on the now discontinued Baja Wilderness Trail 400 ATVs.

Description

Here is a part that is sometimes hard to find; the 9 tooth starter motor for 125cc/150cc, 250cc, & 400cc ATVs & dirt bikes. It features clockwise rotation.

This 12 volt starter motor is compatible with the Baja Wilderness Trail 400 (WD400-U).

The starter motor does not include the mounting bolts, so you will need to reuse your scooter or ATV's original bolts.
