They do require some assembly, mainly removing the ear muffs from the head band and then snap them to the adapters.

How to Assemble: ?
Take out the headset cloth cover from the 2 sides of the Comtac headset. ?
Take out the headset line from the headband (need hoop wrapped). ?
Hang the headset adapter on both side of the headset. ?
Assemble to the helmet. ?
Bind the headset line to top of the helmet, then use tape to fixed on top.
