Unlike traditional gun cleaning fluid, Bore-Max expands in the barrel and fully penetrates lands and grooves in the riffling, where most of the copper layer is embedded. It then reacts and dissolves bore contaminants. It's the foam that works hard, so you don't have to. As the bore solvent breaks chemical compounds it will change color to indicate presence of heavy build-up or successful removal of copper or carbon. No more guessing. You'll be confident that your bore is thoroughly cleaned. As dedicated bore cleaner solvent, Bore-Max Bore Foam is much more effective than common CLP solutions.
