You don't need to close the tank when connecting and disconnecting because the coupler kit's compact design don't let the gas flow in both directions when disconnected
  • Coupler Fit: Oxy-Fuel cutting torch quick connects set fits 9/16"-18 B fittings (the most common fitting type). The black kit is for Oxygen and the gold kit is for Fuel gas. We offer custom fits for both fuel and oxygen lines to lower the risk of accidental mismatches and cross fusion of gases
  • Versatile Uses: Oxy-Fuel quick connectors are used for welding operations, primarily to connect and quickly disconnect the oxyacetylene torch from the hose, with a maximum working pressure of 29 PSI for fuel gas and 145 PSI for oxygen. Squeeze inward from both sides to connect and push the piston to disconnect them
  • Product Features: Hose-to-Torch quick connectors are made of precision brass construction for durability. The metal surface plating layer well protects the internal structure, and the product can adapt to various circumstances
