EcoFoil's Ultra NT Solid Radiant Barrier is designed for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), and acts as an RF attenuation barrier that blocks radio frequencies. One roll of solid SCIF barrier measures 4 ft. wide and 125 ft. long for a total of 500 sq ft. Ultra NT Radiant Barrier is effective for securing confidential information and keeps data secure from outside threats. The SCIF foil is made of woven polyethylene sheet bonded between two highly reflective, tear-proof aluminum foil surfaces. When seams are sealed, the radiant barrier insulation roll doubles as an effective vapor barrier to keep out moisture and reduce condensation buildup. Installation: Use scissors or sharp utility knife to cut the SCIF insulation to size and use SCIF tape to seal the seams. If attaching SCIF barrier to wood framing - use a staple gun and 3/8" wide construction staples. If attaching it to concrete and steel - refer to engineering specs to adhere to the wall. Recommended use: use on walls, floors, and ceilings of government and military security, data centers, research/medical/computer labs, broadcasting studios, business meeting rooms, home offices, and other ICD 705 certified projects. Although used for SCIF rooms, you can use this insulation type if you have high sensitivity to cell phone signals or live close to a tower. Whether you're a professional SCIF contractor or DIYer, make sure to stock up on some high-quality reflective radiant barrier like the Ultra NT SCIF Solid from EcoFoil.
