The MAG-MATE F1405 Ceramic 8 Ring-Shaped Magnet Material is a nonmetallic compound made of iron oxide, strontium ferrite, and trace metal oxides that undergoes a meticulous manufacturing process involving calcination, wet ball milling, compaction, and high-temperature firing in kilns. The resulting shapes are precisely cut and ground using diamond tools. Known for their lightweight and relatively high energy, ceramic magnets are hard, brittle, and nonconductive, posing challenges for traditional methods. Despite difficulties in grinding and traditional methods like machining and drilling, it finds applications in slabs or rings magnetically oriented through their thickness. Our ceramic magnetic ring operates optimally below 350°F and cannot withstand temperatures exceeding 480°F. The permanent ceramic 8-magnet material, with a holding value of 3.5 lbs., is designed for reliability. Its ring magnet configuration, featuring a center hole, offers versatility for mounting, centering, or incorporating probes and lights.
