EURONET PARAFFIN – Packed in a peel away aluminum pouche, sterilized by gamma radiation, and made of aperture leno cotton gauze to allow wound exudates to pass through. It is impregnated with paraffin ointment to form a separate layer between the wound and the gauze preventing adherence to the wound and to provide fast recovery.
PRINCIPAL USES ─ Primary wound contact layer in the treatment of burns, abrasions, ulcers, skin grafts, a variety of traumatic injuries, and chronic wounds. The dressing is also used as a transfer medium for skin during grafting.
HYPOALLERGENIC AND NON-ADHERENT ─ The 100% absorbent white cotton thread makes it a non-adherent and non-allergenic dressing.
UNDER MEDICAL SUPERVISION ─ Can be used to manage infected wounds or wounds in which there is an increased risk of infection.
STORAGE ─ Store in a cool dark place, away from heating sources and protected from direct sunlight. Euronet Paraffin is latex free.
