Often attributed to Mother Teresa, and found written on a wall in her Home for Children in Calcutta (though evidently not written by her), these famous inspirational words can be summed up in the simple 4th line: "Be kind anyway." St. Teresa of Calcutta was a guiding light in her time, and remains so in ours, so I paired this beautiful text with a lighthouse shining over the waves. May these words inspire us as they inspired her! Drawing and calligraphy were done by hand using archival ink pens on watercolor paper. Watercolors were used to add all color. The original artwork was 18x24 inches. Prints are professionally run on 100 lb, acid free paper using environmentally sensitive inks, and signed and dated by the artist (me).
