Enjoy a versatile clock that helps people in need. This 10-inch by 7-inch Chicago Lighthouse atomic clock can be displayed on a wall or desktop and features a LCD digital display. All proceeds support The Chicago Lighthouse, a non-profit organization that serves the blind, visually impaired, disabled and Veteran communities. The atomic movement receives a daily signal from the National Bureau of Standards Atomic Clock in Colorado, ensuring long-term precision timekeeping. Our Clock Bodies are made using 30% post-consumer recycled materials and are assembled with pride by people who are legally blind or visually impaired at our facility in Chicago, IL. Since 1977, we've hand produced more than 6 million wall clocks and counting. The ultimate goal of The Chicago Lighthouse is to create more jobs for the visually impaired, a group that faces a 70% unemployment rate. We are also the only low-vision clinic in the country that provides comprehensive care in all aspects of visual rehabilitation.
