StewMac Tape Op Delay Pedal Kit
The warm sound of analog tape delay in a pedal
We love analog tape delays! The raw, warm, and unique sound compliment the tone of electric guitars so well. The only problem is that tapes wear out, and analog delays can be inconsistent and difficult to dial into the perfect sound for you. We set out to take the things we loved about classic delays and create a circuit that would be easy to use and sound killer too.
We worked hard and finally developed a delay that rivaled our favorite tape machines and priceless analog pedals. No cold, sterile repeats here—the dry signal path is all analog! With 30ms to 625ms of delay, you can cover everything from rockabilly slapback to deep experimental soundscapes all in one great sounding package.
With knobs for time, repeats, mix, and tone it's easy to dial in subtle or more extreme delays. The tone knob gives you complete control over the sound—you'll never have to deal with the dark and muddy sounds that ruin other delay pedals.
