Used For - There are two main industry standards for the screw threads on the top of microphone stands, 3 or 5 eighths of an inch. If your microphone came with a clip, itâ€s almost certain that its thread will be one size or the other, likewise, your microphone stand is also likely to be either 3/8†or 5/8†.
If your stand is 5/8†and your clip is 3/8†, this adapter will allow you to use them together, filling the gap to ensure you have as snug a fit as possible, helping to deaden any unwanted vibrations.
Construction - Manufactured from high quality alloy to prevent any deformation of the thread which could cause it to jam, the adapter also features a knurled skirt at the base to aid grip when attaching and removing it.
