This 0-6” micrometer set offers a choice of 6 different measuring ranges in a single tool. This set comes with a single arm and 6 interchangeable anvils. This provides a full range of 1” step micrometers from 0 to 6”. The Vernier scale has 0.0005" microfine graduations with a satin chrome finish for easy reading. Accuracy guaranteed to be within 0.0002". Set comes with carbide-tipped anvils to provide wear resistance. Each anvil comes with an adjusting collar to set overall dimensions. The spindle thread is hardened, ground, and micro-lapped to provide smooth movement, accuracy, and long life. The locking lever on the spindle holds settings for accurate readings. Spindle can be easily set to zero with included wrench. The ratchet-stop thimble provides consistent pressure and stops turning when spindle contacts the work piece, providing consistent measurements. Arm has baked-enamel finish for long life and durability. Each set comes with a set of inter-changeable anvils and 5 standards (1-6”) to accurately adjust micrometer for each required range.
