The MIDI 2.0 Breakout Board MV board is an easy way to connect a hardware MIDI device to an Arduino, microcontroller, or embedded computer such as the Beagle Bone or RaspberryPi. This version of the MIDI BoB is a fully assemble board. The PCB provides an optically isolated MIDI I/O (Input and Output) signal and power. There are mounting also holes in the PCB for a more permanent installation. An example Arduino sketch is available on the manufacturers website which will get you up and running quickly. MIDI Breakout MV is similar to the old EZ. However, the MV includes a switch allowing you to select 5V or 3.3V levels.
