These ripple jaws feature deep, ribbed grooves on both the outside and inside of the jaw, providing a strong and powerful grip on rough or bark covered wood.
The amount of movement available offers a range of 40mm to 75mm internal and 52mm to 87mm external.
These jaws are an excellent choice for hollow forms or turning unseasoned timber.
For the best grip on long or heavy center work or where there might be a lot of stress an the fixing as hollowing proceeds, heavy serrated or grooved jawsare the best option.
