Special Features

  • ⚽ STARTER KIT – Masks and Ball: Right now you will receive the Rainbow Blind football. The Rainbow ball comes in size 3 and has a low bounce. The ball makes a perfect rattling sound due to 6 sound devices. The ball is made of strong PU. The circumference amounts to 23 5/8” – 24 13/32”.
  • ⚽ RATTLING SOUND – 5-a-side is played with a size 3 audible futsal ball with low bounce. The players localize the ball exclusively by sound, and they receive instructions on the field from the other players, the coach, a shooting assistant behind the opponent's goal and the keeper. Note the sound comes from the 6 sound devices inside the ball - the ball makes sound when you shake the ball or when it is bouncing, kicked to etc. It is not an electronic sound device.
  • ⚽ BLIND SOCCER – There are only five players on each team, and the only sighted player is the goalkeeper. All besides the keeper are wearing face masks (ex. Justa Blind Sport Mask or a polyester mask), and some are wearing protective head gear. The keeper is not allowed to leave the goal area. There are no offside rules in 5-a-side, and the pitch is lined with kickboards. Each half lasts for 20 minutes.
  • ⚽ POLYESTER MASKS – 10 polyester masks (5 red and 5 black) - The polyester masks are onesize with Hook & Loop closure and washable. The thickness provides a close and comfortable fit and ensures that all vision is shut out. The masks do not allow light to penetrate and ensures complete darkness.
  • ⚽ PERSONAL EXPERIENCE – As a former Paralympic goalball player and former Vice President of the International Paralympic Committee, President Jens Bromann brings deep personal insight in understanding the need to remove barriers for the disabled to participate in an active lifestyle.
